1. Sales Price:

? Prices are excluded tax. Tax will be charged according to Japanese laws and regulations. 8% tax will be charged for raw materials and a 10% tax will be charged for processed and prepared food.

2. Timing and method of payment:

● The online service will be operated for 24 hours. There are 3 types of payment methods. They are as follows;

Cash on Delivery – Transport Service will
Collect Your Money.
Credit/ Debit Card Payment.
Bank Transfer: Transfer the Amount from Your
Account to Our Company Account.

A bank Transfer is a must for Fast Food Delivery Services.
All the orders below ￥12,000 (Exclude Tax / ටැක්ස් රහිත ) should be transferred the amount to our Company Bank Account. Please make sure to select the Payment method as THE BANK TRANSFER.

How do payment options work?

● For more than ¥12,000 (Exclude Tax / ටැක්ස් රහිත ) shopping all the 3 options (credit/debit card payment, bank transfer, and cash on delivery) are available.

● The customer has to pay the delivery charge for less than ￥12,000 (Exclude Tax / ටැක්ස් රහිත ) shopping for any weight.

★　If your very first order is cash on delivery. Please confirm your address by a photo (Snapshot) of a letter or bill which mentions your name and address. This is just to deliver the package on time, to avoid returning the package, and to avoid fake orders. ( SMS , MMS , Viber , What`sApp , IMO , Messenger )
★　If you are not willing to confirm your address by a snapshot, please go to credit/debit card payment or bank transfer options.

★　Please be aware of entering your address correctly to avoid delays. (COD, credit/debit card payment, or bank transfer)

3. Product Delivery Time: We use the Yamato transport service to deliver customers’ packages with secure throughout the country. Please refer to the “DELIVERY” page for further information.

4. Cancellation or withdrawal an Order:

Without informing the cancellation of the order prior to hand over the package to the transport service (Yamato), cash will not be refunded.
If the customer is willing to cancel the order, Make sure to call us & inform the order number in order to cancel the order. Our staff will proceed with the cancellation.
The Customer who needs to cancel the order after the payment is done (Before handover to Transport service) through bank transfer will be reduced ￥125 as a bank transfer charge when refunding the money.

6. Nature Of The Company: Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd is a company which has only one shareholder. All the decisions, advertisements and selling are done by the company itself, not by any third parties.

7. Order Expiration Date / Deadline:

If the customer is not responding to the contact number given, the order will be canceled by the company.
If the payment (bank transfer) is not received within 2 days of the order has been done, the order will be automatically canceled.
If the customer is impossible to stay during the delivery time, a notice will be put into the letterbox and the customer is able to call back and get the order within 5 days.
Within 6 days of the delivery date, if the customer is not responding to the notice, the package will be returned to Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd.

8. Extra money to be paid other than the selling
price and the shipping charges.

for cash on delivery service, an extra ￥440 for less than 30,000円 and ￥660 for more than 30,000円 will be charged as a bank transfer fee.
4%~5% of your shopping amount will be added as a Service Charge for Credit Card or Debit Card payments.
If you need your package in frozen or cool conditions, the amount should be paid by the customer. Extra cool charges are mentioned in the “DELIVERY” page.

9. Liability of the seller.

Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd imports the best products available in the Sri Lankan market and deals directly with the company of manufacture. According to the rules and regulations of Japanese law, the procedure of the import will be done with a proper inspection of the products by the Health Department and the Custom of Japan.
If a product is destroyed or damaged during the delivery, the transport service will pay the damage. To confirm the damage during the delivery, the customer has to open the package in front of the delivery person and let him inform about the damage.
Food and beverage has no any return policy. If ther’s any complaint regarding the food items we deliver, inform us within 3 days.
Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd can estimate a date for delivery of goods, but customers shall understand that it is an estimate. Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd shall not be liable for any loss caused to the customer as a result of failure to deliver by the estimated delivery date or such other date or time as may be subsequently agreed.
Customers must inform Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd if there are any specific instructions with regards to delivery, for example, if the delivery address may be difficult for the driver to find. Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd shall not be liable for any loss caused to the customer as a result of failure to provide such instructions.

10. The operating environment of the software.

Sri Lankan Taste co., Ltd is currently dealing only with credit/debit card transactions as a software transaction for online orders. The customer him/her self has to enter their card information of their own and proceed with the order.
For walk-in customers, a card reader machine is used. The customer has to insert the card to the reader and feed the amount by him/herself and put the signature (to confirm the ownership of the card) to complete the payment.

11. The facts and terms of sales for wholesalers.

The wholesalers are having a memorandum to sign with Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd to retail the products which our company imports. Without agreeing to the terms and conditions of the company, retailing is illegal.

12. Special sales conditions.

There are no sales conditions such as quantity restrictions. The customer can buy any quantity of their desire if the stock is available.

13. Sending catalog…. etc

After signing the memorandum only, the brochures and catalog will be sent to the wholesaler free of charge.

14. Sending commercial advertisement by email.

Sri Lankan Taste Co., Ltd sends commercial advertisements, discount coupons, golden member gift coupons via the email address “info@srilankantaste.jp” only.
